My work is inspired by nature and things around me allowing me to create pots for everyday use. I also enjoy teaching, especially hand building techniques, which bring out the creativity in you even if you are handling clay for the first time. I'm happy to work on custom design tableware sets to your taste.
About Me
I am originally from Bengaluru, India. The roots of my desire to create original pieces of ceramic pottery were sown when I visited Sweden in my early years. It was realized after intense and passionate training with Ray Meeker in Pondicherry, India.
I moved to California in 2005. Since then I have attended ceramic classes at Saddleback College and trained with Monica Dunham at the Festival of Arts, Laguna Beach. The experience earned me a job at the Festival of Arts where I work at the ceramic booth as an art educator since the summer of 2010.
Currently I am working and teaching at my studio in Laguna Niguel. I create pieces of art both functional and decorative, inspired by experiences that are culturally diverse.

Birthday Parties
Artists of all ages will enjoy the pleasure of creating a piece of art on their special day. Plan your next Birthday Party at Mudikay Clay Time!

Each person attending the party will receive wheel-thrown pottery to paint and decorate

Pot shape can be customized to your taste if you plan your party 3 weeks in advance

This is a fun class for adults to socialize and get creative!
